WELCOME

We are Meglabyte, a robotics team from Folkestone who are on a mission to encourage more girls and young people into STEM!

Meet the team...

We are Team MEGLABYTE also known as Team Great Britain. We are 5 girls from Folkestone (a coastal town in England), with many different cultures and backgrounds. As an all-girls robotics team, we believe increasing female representation in STEM is very important in a male-dominated field.

Can you support our mission?

We invite you to support our journey to the First Global Challenge in South Korea, where we aim to showcase the talent and innovation of young people in STEM. Your support will play a vital role in helping inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.

We are also seeking partnerships with universities and organisations that share our commitment to engaging more young people in STEM. By supporting our STEM programmes, you can contribute to fostering creativity and critical thinking the future leaders of technology and innovation.

We are looking for corporate sponsorship and grant funding to fund our journey to South Korea and make our campaign the very best it can be! Please email us at TeamGreatBritain@folkestonegirls.kent.sch.uk if you are interested in sponsoring our team.

For individuals, we would be very grateful if you could contribute to our CrowdFunding campaign:
